Room 14's Volunteer Project

Picture Books with a purpose!

This year Room 14 decided to make our picture books even more meaningful and help others who are less fortunate by undertaking a volunteer project. With help from SVA (the student volunteer army), we have been working hard to create uplifting picture books that we will then donate to the children's ward at Dunedin Hospital. We hope that this will give the children there something to laugh at and enjoy when they aren't feeling their best. This has been a great realisation for Room 14 students that we have the power to make a positive difference. We are now famous on the SVA website!
