PBL soil quality

As part of our PBL Sustainability topic, Room 1 have been looking at soil quality and how this can effect plant growth.

We are using 3 different soils to compare which one will grow the spinach seeds the best.

Soil samples;

Taieri planes

Kettle Park

Tahuna field

We predict that the Taieri soil will product the best spinach plant because the soil looked denser and richer than the other soils which were very sandy.
