Year 7's cycling, arcades and building

Over the past few weeks the Year 7's have been out on their bikes learning road safety and exploring the key aspects of bike safety. Thanks once again to the DCC bike school for taking the time to teach our students and get them ready for the up and coming summer out on their bikes.

Last week the Year 7 students, were fortunate to have some games delivered from Video Tech to play and explore the mechanisms and enjoyment of these games. The Year 7's will be working towards making their own arcade games out of cardboard over the up coming weeks as part of our end of Year FUN DAY. If anyone has any large cardboard boxes please feel free to send them to school with your child.

Congratulations to all the Year 7 students who have made it into South Zones and we wish them good luck for their competition.

We are currently finishing off our End of Year testing and it has been pleasing to see the growth in the Year 7's this year. They should be very proud of the progress they have made throughout their first year here at Tahuna.
