What an incredible weekend for our Tahuna Normal Intermediate students at the NZCAF Aerobic Nationals!

Tahuna Students Shine at NZCAF Aerobic Nationals

What an incredible weekend for our Tahuna Normal Intermediate students at the NZCAF Aerobic Nationals! We are incredibly proud of the commitment, teamwork and talent shown by our students, both in our Tahuna-trained teams and those who train with their clubs.

Our students represented themselves, their teams and our school with pride, with some fantastic results across a range of divisions.

💙 Tahuna Teams

Our Tahuna-trained teams also took to the national stage.

Tahuna Matata 🥇(Zac Mitchell, Safaa Redmond, Grace Martin, Ellie Findlay, Mila Hendry and MacKenzie Chrystal)— competed in the Division 5 Intermediate Large Team competition achieving 1st Place!

Tahuna Pulse (Neve Ramshaw, Holly Turner and Sienna Smith) — competed in Division 5.

Sienna Smith🥉 had an outstanding performance in the Division 5 Intermediate Individual competition, one of the largest categories in the competition, taking home an impressive 3rd place!

These students have put in many hours of training and preparation, and it was fantastic to see them perform at Nationals. We are so proud of the dedication and teamwork they demonstrated.

⭐ Students Representing Their Clubs!

Several of our students also competed as members of their club teams.

Annabelle Cope 🥉 achieved an excellent 3rd place in the Under 14 Division 3 Individual competition.

Annabelle Cope🥇 and Indi Herden🥇 competed in the Under 14 Division 3 Teams, where they achieved an amazing 1st place! Congratulations to both of them on this fantastic result.

Laurie Armstrong competed in the Division 5 Intermediate Individual heats, while Laurie Armstrong and Hazel Bagge competed together in the Division 5 Intermediate Teams heats.

Isabel Crawford 🥈 competed in the Division 3 Under 14 heats and was also a member of 'Magic!' who achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the FISAF Petite Cadet category. Even more excitingly, Magic! will now represent New Zealand — an incredible achievement! Congratulations Isabel!

A huge congratulations to all of our students who competed at Nationals. It was a mighty achievement being selected to go to Nationals, as the competition regionally was extremely high! Whether competing individually, as part of a Tahuna team, or alongside their club teammates, every student should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

We would love to thank our amazing Tahuna coaches from Peak Aerobics: Billie Allan and Molly Cole. Both coaches are current competitors who currently represent our country. We are very lucky to have them!
