Winter Road Safety

With the onset of winter it is timely reminder to take care on the roads and footpaths around school. We have had one serious accident involving a scooter rider this week.

Some of our neighbours are becoming increasingly concerned about students erratic behaviour on scooters. Please remind your child about safe riding, especially if they are riding down Victoria Rd which seems to be of particular concern.

All Tahuna students who ride their bikes or scooter to school are wearing the High Vis vests which makes them highly visible, especially during the darker mornings and early evenings. High Vis Vests are available to all students who want them.
