Tahuna's daily waste - it's a lot!

So the question is ... how do we as waste minimisation agents, reduce the waste at Tahuna and promote a more sustainable future?

This driving question will be answered by our ākonga this term. 

The size of the problem is pretty big - we filled half a skip with food waste, packaging and other waste and we want this halved again by the end of our project.

To help better understand the global and local issues, students will be examining the risks to our whenua (land), wai (water) and the role whānau and iwi can play in living more sustainable lives.

I'm genuinely excited to see what solutions the students find.
