Girls Cricket

Another one of the many sporting opportunities here at Tahuna and the girls loved their first game for the season!

We were able to play our first game of cricket yesterday as the weather finally pulled through. This term, Tahuna has one hardball team entered in the local competition and other students who are playing in the softball competition. 

It was a tough game last night as we were up against Balmac. The Tahuna girls did extremely well, hitting a few fours and bowling a couple of wickets. Unfortunately we lost the game by 10 runs, but we had a great time practising our skills and meeting new people. The sportsmanship and positive encouragement towards others was outstanding from both teams! 

We are looking forward to the game next week!
