Crash Carts!
Room 14 had the opportunity to ride on Crash carts with Dr Esther Hains from the Otago University.We learnt about Newton’s first law and how an object in motion stays in motion until it collides in another object. We sat on the crash carts and pushed them together. To show the mass of the impact there was a ring on the spring that got pushed forward when you collided. They were really fun and we learnt heaps.
