Room 4 Climbs to Great Heights

On Tuesday, students had to apply everything they had learnt from a previous introductory session on climbing, at the Long Beach rock face.

Students were adventurous, showed teamwork and skillful climbing skills, as many ventured out of their comfort zone and up the cliff.  A real sense of achievement was evident, whether going further than expected, reaching the top of the ropes or being a vital member of the belaying team. We were most grateful to Tim and our fantastic adults who safely transported our students and actively assisted in so many ways throughout the day.

An added bonus was meeting locals Andy and "Remarkable Meg." Meg was found after going missing for 5 weeks and is the star of her own picture book and own website.
