Local author Rachel McCoubrey presents top picture book prizes to year 7s

On Friday last week the year 7s were very lucky and had Rachel McCoubrey (a local author) come in to present the prizes for the top year 7 picture books. 

Rachel lives in St Clair and has self published works such as Remarkable Meg and St Clair Splash.  

Rachel read the top 3 books written by students from each of the year 7 classes and then selected 4 winners. Winners received books, blue cards and some of Rachel’s work.

We are so grateful that Rachel gave up her time to come along and inspire the next generation of authors. Thank you so much Rachel and well done to all recipients!
