The Board of Trustees welcomes Sarah Simmers onto the Board

At the June Board meeting, it was agreed to co-opt Sarah Simmers onto the Board until the election of a new Board in September.

Sarah has a child in Year 8 at Tahuna and children at St Clair school.  She is a lawyer at Andersons Lloyd and is a Trustee of the Otago Youth Wellness Trust and the Digital Community Trust, Chair of the organising committee for the Cancer Society Ball, and a member of the Institute of Directors and the Banking and Financial Services Law Association.

We welcome Sarah onto the Board of Trustees.

It was pleasing to see a large interest in the upcoming Board of Trustees elections with seven candidates standing.  Candidate profiles and voting papers will be out soon with the closing date for voting being 4pm on Tuesday 13th September.
