Specialist Areas
Students have created some special pieces during Matauranga Māori week as well as gaining new knowledge.
Art: Colourful art work was produced during Matauranga Māori week by the students. From specific patterns the students created meaningful, original designs.
Enjoy viewing the Year 8 students' work inspired by artist Charles Demuth and Year 7 students work looking at the art of Sue Davis.
E-Tech and Hard Materials: Student used Māori inspired designs to create small projects, one to gift as a koha to someone.
Food Technology: Students made paraoa parai and raspberry chia jam. They assisted capably in the preparation of our school hangi, (which included a lot of peeling of potatoes and kumara!)
