The Hub heads to technology
This week the 'Hubsters' had their first technology classes at Tahuna.
Students from our team (R.19, R.19A and R.6) were put into 5 groups and either went to Food & Textiles (Mrs Scott), Hard Materials (Mr Arnold), Design Technology (Mr Tait), Art (Mrs Whitson) and Digital Technology (Mr Boyes).
It was great to see all of the kids engaged in their different classes and already developing some new skills.
The opportunities available in these classes are really cool and as teachers we love to see and taste (go Food Tech!) their creations when they come back to class!
Each fortnight our year 7's will spend 6 hours creating, building, designing and cooking some amazing things.
We can't wait to see their creations!
