Kebabs, Cricket and China.

It has been a busy start for the Year 7's this term.

What a busy start to the term the Year 7's have had. We have been carrying out  hands on science investigations and activities involving physics. Try making a balloon kebab like Room 15.  Can you beat our record of four kebab sticks in one balloon without popping it?

Many of the Year 7's are well underway with their ideas and research for their own science fair project.  There are some great young scientists emerging.

During the first couple of weeks of the term we were fortunate to have Otago Cricket coaches teaching us some skills for bowling, batting and fielding.  We have learnt some new games to play during our P.E sessions.

Earlier in the term some classes shared a zoom chat with our Sister School in China.  The children were focusing on what we do in the weekends. It was great to see children from both countries exploring each others cultures and sharing their  language.
