Futsal season - it's a wrap!
The term 4 futsal season proved to be one of our most popular and successful.
Each Tuesday evening in term4 Tahuna had 11 teams and almost 100 students representing their school proudly in the inter-school futsal competition. The teams played in three different divisions, with around three different levels of competition in each division.
The kids gave it everything they had on the court while they're learning about team spirit, dealing with challenges, handling losses and being gracious in victory - among many other things.
It was great seeing players of all abilities developing their skills and playing with a real competitive spirit.
Futsal kicks off again in term 1 next year, so if your child is keen to learn the game and develop their football skills all they need to do is listen out for the notices in early Feb.
