Oral Communication - Reading with Expression and Fluency
In room 11 we have been reading plays aloud and practicing projecting our voice so others can hear us.
Reading aloud small sections of writing has been fun and less intimidating than reading a large chunk in front of others. In our groups we listen while others are performing, we support by helping each other with word pronunciation and we also like having a laugh.
Ms Witana has asked us to practice inside and outside, so we can experiment with voice volume and move around when we are reading. Soon we will share these plays with our class mates and have a go at being in the spotlight.
