The Bear Book

As Bob Dylan once sang…”The times, they are a changing”, and they certainly did as New Zealand went from level 2 on the 21st March to Level 4, just 4 days later.

Down came Amanda’s Bears from the attic and for the next 42 days, I wrote a daily story and set up a display connected to each story. Locals in Quail Rise visited the display site and people around the world followed the Bear’s adventures on a couple of Facebook pages. While people posted how much they appreciated this small effort, I got so much pleasure seeing the young and not so young people visit the displays daily.

Oh, the Book! Yes. Early on, I was asked to write a book and so here we are. Cure Kids came on-board and will receive profits from the book sales. They are a very special charity that funds vital medical research to help improve, extend and save the lives of kids.
