EPRO8

Intraschool competition completed

Tuesday, the 4th of March, was a busy day in the school hall with six out of our eight teams competing for spots in our EPRO8 Squad. This was a tough competition, with only 2 teams being able to go through to the Interschool competition in April.

The students competed in the Classroom Competition first, where they had to build an exoskeleton to go over one team member and then add on an iron and ironing board.

The students had the choice to build a Ball Launcher, a Jack in the Box or a Shoe Throwing machine. Many of the teams chose the Jack in the Box or the Ball Launcher. These challenges were particularly hard, and no team completed the build. They did, however, demonstrate impressive teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.

Fortunately, because of the calibre of our students, we have been able to put in two more teams for the Inter Schools competition at DNI on the 8th and 9th of April.
