Tahuna Showcase – A Night of Talent and Celebration

On Thursday, 13 November, the Tahuna community was treated to an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and performance as more than 170 students took to the stage for the Tahuna Showcase 2025. With a diverse programme that showcased everything from Taiopeka and Pasifika to rock bands, marimba, choir, dance, drumming, and aerobics, the night was a true celebration of creativity, teamwork, and courage.

Each group brought something unique to the stage, performing items that they have been working on throughout the year. The quality of performances reflected hours of practice, commitment, and collaboration from both the students and the teachers who supported them. From polished musical arrangements to energetic dance pieces and impressive Nationals hip hop and aerobics routines, every act demonstrated the talent and passion of our learners.

A huge thank you goes to all of the teachers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Your support with supervision, organisation, quick changes, equipment, and backstage management ensured the night ran smoothly. This event simply could not happen without you.

We would also like to acknowledge Destiny our Performing Arts Coordinator, along with Morgann, Anna, Manuel, Eb and Xzenia for the incredible items they prepared and presented. Putting together performances of this level requires significant dedication, creativity, and hard work from both the students and the teachers in charge, and the results spoke for themselves.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and celebrated our students. The Tahuna Showcase continues to be a highlight of the school year, and this year’s showcase was certainly one to remember.
