Update Regarding Room 1 and Krissy Carey

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I am writing to inform you about a situation affecting Room 1 and your child's teacher, Krissy Carey. Krissy is currently dealing with a family medical emergency and will be unable to be at school. Our thoughts and concerns are with Krissy and her whānau during this difficult time.

We are hoping that Krissy will return on Monday, but we will keep you updated as we receive more information.

We have been fortunate to secure the services of Kelsey Brockbank, one of our most reliable and experienced relievers and a familiar face to the Tahuna students. Kelsey has been covering Room 1 for the last two weeks. She is an excellent teacher, and Iwe were lucky that she was able to `continue to provide a smooth and engaging learning environment for the students.

We understand that any changes to the usual routine can be concerning, but we are committed to ensuring continuity of learning for your children. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this situation.

If you have any urgent concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards

Simon Clarke
