Emergency Plan for Tahuna

Classes have been busy practising our Tsunami 'Walk' this term as part of our Emergency Plan. We will be following this up with a fire drill in the next couple of weeks.

In the event of an emergency parents will be notified via text message, email and Facebook next steps for student collection.

Release of Children

After an emergency, the school's normal release policy will be strictly adhered to. No child will be released to a caregiver unless that person is nominated on the appropriate form. 

A child release point will be established and details of which children have left, and with whom, will be recorded.
