Mandarin in Room 13

Ni Hāo (Hello)

Each week we are lucky enough to get a session of Mandarin taken by a Mandarin Language Teacher. The teacher in Room 13 is Xu Lâo Shī.

So far she has covered basic language with the class such as:

Ni Hāo = Hello

Ni Hāo ma= How are you?

Fēi cháng hao= Fantastic

Yī bān bān= Pretty Good/Not bad 

We have also practised writing the Chinese Characters and pronouncing the alphabet and numbers to 20.

It has been great to hear the class practising the language already in daily conversations.
