Fair testing with Air Cannons

This term our big focus is Science Fair. To learn how to compete a 'fair test', Room 15 made and tested some air cannons.

We had to follow the procedure of a fair test, ensuring we weren't changing too many variables. We wanted to test whether the length of the air cannon would affect how far the paper inside was launched. The variable we changed was the length of the air cannon and all students made one a different size.

We are loving these science experiments and the students will be able to use all this knowledge to help their own Science Fair.
