EPRO8 WINNERS!

Epro8 is all about challenges that incorporate engineering, science, electronics, mathematics and problem solving.

Congratulations to Marley, Andrew Alex and Nick who won the Epro8 competition for Otago. At the start on the challenge we started off at the bottom of the table until we completed the electric scooter. We could tell how fast I was going, we had a clamp that would push down on the brakes and a light that turned on when you were riding it. Once we completed that we were in first place. When we had 1 hour left and we were starting to rush the next task which was the toilet challenge. In the toilet challenge we had to build a 500 mm tall toilet and strong enough to hold me up. Once we completed that we had to add on to it. We added a laser trigger to the side of the toilet to turn on and off the light when we stand up.At the end the whole team got trophies and one big one for the school.
