Kōwhai Hockey

Champions on the day.

Well done to all the members of Kōwhai hockey who have had a great season. The Kōwhai team had a number of players who were new to hockey this season. They have grown into the sport and learn new skills and positions.

It was fantastic to see the team work on a new skill each week and putting that into action as they battled some tough teams. Although the team didn't always win they could see the victories in each game and played some impressive hockey throughout the season. There were a number of highly skilled goals scored.

The team should be congratulated for their grit and determination on the field despite the weather conditions. This team really showed perseverance, determination and success.
