Math Learning Sprints

A group of room 11 students have been using materials to assist with solving problems in mathematics. When questions were delivered to this group without the visual aids or ability to make products, they found it more challenging and sometimes impossible to answer the questions correctly. After materials such as blocks were given to the group, they quickly made cubes etc and were able to successfully solve mathematical word problems with ease......... and they had fun!
