Tī Rākau

Manuhiri from Musselburgh join our Māori Elective for Tī Rākau fun.

On Friday 10 students from Musselburgh joined our Tahuna Māori elective group.  

Tahuna showcased the work they have been doing for the last 4 weeks with Tī Rākau.

Once this was done Tahuna students and our manuhiri joined up in groups of 3 and 4. Everyone was given the opportunity to create their own routine and show the rest of the class. They were fantastic.

To finish off our work we all joined together and performed the basic level as one routine. Everyone did a wonderful job and Musselburgh were definitely fast learners.

We look forward to manuhiri from another school hopefully joining us in week 9.
