Success at Aerobics Gym Sports Qualifying Competition
Amberly Orr, gaining success at the recent Aerobics competition.
The Aerobics Community Coaching Programme is a Sport in Education Project initiative. Ex QHS student, Annelise Lowther, has been mentoring Queen’s girls coaching primary and intermediate children.
A Tahuna Intermediate student competed in the first Gym Sports Aerobics Competition, on Sunday May 10, in Cromwell. This is the first of a number of competitions this year and Amberly Orr from Room 15 placed in the top four of her respective category. She placed 2nd overall in the Step 4 Pair - Open age group (Primary and Intermediate placing). A well deserved placing as it's her very first competition. The second qualifying round will be held in June.
