Tahuna Girls play football down at the Turf.
What a great experience to use community facilities and have the opportunity to play football on the turf against Balmacewen Intermediate Girls.
There were a lot of Tahuna girls showing their football experience, skills and competitiveness on the turf against Balmacewen. Tahuna girls were 1-0 down in the first half and at half time decided to go all out on attack. Pushing players up the field and applying more pressure on Balmac's defence came off with a hard fought goal by Maia Scott. The girls began passing the ball around more and worked hard for each other. All in all a final result of 1-1 saw lots of smiles on both team players which is what it is all about. Fighting fit to come back and play another day.
