Covid 19 what a terrible pandemic

Arrived in New Zealand and was not apologetic

People got scared and went panic buying

Hand sanitizer and toilet paper all went flying

Schools, pools and libraries were closed

In fear that we all might be exposed

Traffic has stopped and the streets are bare

Look out for others 2 metres clear!

Staying at home in our small bubble

Trying to stay sane and keep out of trouble

Discussing new cases and the ones who had healed

Rumours that Level four might move down to three

But Jacinda Ardern says just wait and see

Coronavirus doesn't need to keep us indoors

Washing the car and keeping up with chores

Going for walks and playing cricket at the park

Jumping on the trampoline until it gets dark

Online learning with google docs and zoom

Until we are safe and our school can resume

Play some games and have some fun
