Welcome to 2026 at Tahuna!
What a great first day we have had.
Hello, Kia ora, Tālofa lava, Mālō e lelei, Kia orana, Bula and warm Pasifika greetings to our entire Tahuna Intermediate school community.
What an incredible first day back at Tahuna Intermediate! The energy and excitement were palpable as we welcomed all of our fantastic students, both returning and new, for the start of the academic year.
It was a privilege to see so many smiling faces filling our classrooms and engaging enthusiastically in their new environments. The staff at Tahuna have been busy preparing for weeks, and it’s truly rewarding to see our students settle in so quickly and positively.
To our new students, we hope you felt right at home and enjoyed meeting your teachers and classmates. We are so excited for you to begin your intermediate journey with us and to discover all the amazing opportunities Tahuna Intermediate has to offer.
To all our parents and whānau, thank you for your support in preparing your children for a successful first day. Your partnership is invaluable, and we extend a very warm welcome to you all. We look forward to working together to ensure a brilliant year of learning, growth, and fun for every student.
As you can already see, the calendar is filling up fast, and this newsletter has information about a number of clubs, groups and teams that your child can join. Please take the time to read the newsletter that is sent out every three weeks, as it contains important information.
I would like to draw special attention to the Rob Cope article in the newsletter. Please keep March 17th free, as I expect all parents to attend this event.
We are anticipating a truly great year ahead, filled with academic success, sporting achievements, and creative exploration. Here's to a positive and inspiring school year!
