TERM 3 - A GREAT REFLECTION OF TAHUNA'S VALUES
RESPECT - RESPONSIBILITY - CREATIVITY & SUCCESS The third term has nearly finished now and we can reflect on a very successful term with many students achieving to the highest levels in various sporting, cultural, performing and academic areas as well as the school being involved in a wide range of activities.
Cultural and performing arts activities have been to the fore in the last few weeks with our rock band 7YearS winning the Otago RockQuest, our Stars on Stage performers producing a stunning performance at the recent show and last week the Cook Island, Samoan, Tongan and Te Taiopeka groups delivering stand out performances at the Polyfest.
These things just don't happen it takes a great deal of commitment, creativity, determination and skill to bring out the best in our students whether it be in sporting, cultural, academic or performing areas. At Tahuna we are very fortunate to have a great team of teachers and helpers that do just that. Thanks to Mrs Coughlan, Miss Leonard, Mrs Toa, Mr Tunoka, Mr Breese and Mrs Rouvi and all their helpers for their great work.
