In Visual Art, Year 8 students are learning about the style of Cubism, and the artists who invented it. They are getting inspiration from Analytical and Synthetic Cubism. Take a look at their initial artworks.
The year 7 students are learning about Colour Theory, focusing on the Art Element of Colour and using pastels to show blending within their work.
In Food Technology, Year 7 students have proudly made their own pizza. Firstly learning about yeast and the science behind creating their own dough. Then they had to do a concept sketch and design their product, before making it in real life and of course taste testing it!
Year 8 students are improving their practical skills and perfected the art of making dumplings.
