Coordinates Work in Room 9 Maths

Room 9 Maths class successfully find the hidden treasure using a map and coordinates.

In Room 9 we have been learning about mapping and coordinates. To consolidate our learning we completed a practical activity. Our mission was to draw up a grid on a map of the school. We then set coordinates for a course of 10 places. We selected a soft toy to hide at the 10th place. We swapped our lists of coordinates and followed the maps. We took photo's at each of the 9 destinations as evidence. All of the groups successfully found their treasure.
