Explosions, fungi, trains and wild weather!
Our Science experiments elective took off with a bang when we sent our rockets flying sky high on the school field in week one.
Since then we have made our own magnet trains, explored the freezing effect of ice when mixed with salt and made our own petri dishes - which grew some pretty disgusting bacteria. Noah Strange particularly enjoys exploring things and seeing how they react with each other, while Madi West enjoys seeing lots of different elements and types of Science. Our experiments so far have been heaps of fun and really interesting and we are all really looking forwards to exploring electricity this week. I may make some Mad Scientists out of them yet.
