Welcome back to a new school year. A special welcome to those families who are new to our school this year.

We welcome all returning students as well, and put out the challenge to everyone to make the most of every opportunity. Observing the manners, attitudes and behaviour of students these first days it certainly looks set to be another amazing year for Tahuna.

It has been a very positive start with all our programmes up and running from day one-stationery requirements have been given out, the Year 7 & 8s have started their Specialist Teacher programmes, and the Mandarin programme is underway. The Meet the Teacher/Camp meetings have been held already. There is a real enthusiasm and energy for learning around the school.

The two years at Intermediate School are a significant time in your child's life and we are ready to guide your children through this period in a fun, rewarding and challenging manner.

We encourage all parents and caregivers to take an active role in our school and look forward to working with you throughout the year.
