Year 7 Food Technology
Combine an excited buzz of hard working students and many delicious aromas and you will find yourself in the Food Tech room with our fabulous Year 7 students.
After gaining an understanding of hygiene and safety guidelines, students are required to sit their 'Food Technology Licence' before beginning any practical lessons.
Then we put our safe practice into use by making amazing pancakes whilst using the stove safely.
We explore the function of yeast in making pizza dough and then introduce students to the design process, where they brainstorm ideas and produce a concept sketch for their own pizza.
