Anzac Day 2026 & Poppy Sales for the R.S.A.

In what has long been a tradition for Tahuna and many other Dunedin schools, we are looking to take groups of Tahuna students to once again represent the school at both this year's Dawn Parade and the Anderson's Bay posy laying ceremony.

Tahuna students are very welcome to join us at the 2026 Dawn Parade on Anzac Day.  They are also welcome to attend the Anderson's Bay Cemetery posy laying ceremony a little later in the morning.

Permission slips are available from Mr. Owen in Room 3 and from the School Office. These can be returned to Mr. Owen's desk.

Alternatively, an email direct to Mr. Owen can also be used to give permission to attend. (davidowen@tahuna.school.nz).

In addition, School Councillors will be selling poppies on behalf of the R.S.A. throughout this coming week. Students are encouraged to bring a gold coin along if they'd like to purchase a poppy.
