Athletics Day at the Caledonian - Friday 13 October

We unfortunately had to postpone our athletics fun day at the Caledonian Sports Grounds at Logan Park.  It will now be held on Friday 13 October which is the first Friday back. 

We have no charges for curriculum or school events such as this one and at times will rely on goodwill to make events affordable for the school.  This is one of those events.  Last year we only needed to take 50 students by bus.  In the postponed event we had 170 students to transport meaning 4 buses which works out to be about an additional $1000.  To save costs, it would be greatly appreciated if you could drop off and pick up your child from the Caledonian Grounds.  Please talk to your child's friends and see if you can share the transport.  If you are still unable to do this, we will provide buses for children who can't get there.

Please fill this out by Monday the 9th of october to confirm that you can get your child there and collect them at the end of the day or if you require us to transport them.  Everyone needs to fill out this form.

Drop off time at Caledonian 8:15 am-9am Pick up 2:45pm - 3:15pm. Students catching buses need to be at Tahuna no later than 8:30am and will be returned to Tahuna by 3:15pm

Parents & Caregivers are more than welcome to come and watch in support.

Please make sure that your child has the following.

• House colours if they wish and correct PE gear. No face paint please, it is part of the DCC ground rules. No formal uniform.
• Sun Hat or warm hat, depending on the conditions
• Warm clothes
• Plenty to drink
• Packed lunch, no canteen
• Sunscreen on ready for the day - also available throughout the day
• Any medication if required
