Lego Education
This week R6 students had the chance to explore finding engineering solutions to a real world problem with Lego Education.
Our Äkonga were posed this problem: how can you design a rubbish truck that can sort items that can be recycled with those that are destined for the landfill.
We built rubbish trucks using Lego bricks, but then added robotics and de Groot programming to get them to move and sort rubbish.
The creativity and problem solving on display was amazing to see.... some even went further using motion sensors!
