Slipping and sliding!

By Georgia White

After a short walk around the loop track we got into our togs and patiently waited for our turn on the waterslide. It was a long, thin black tarpaulin. Ms Parker made a challenge of who could go the longest on the waterslide without stopping. There were three large tires at the top to make sure that the waterslide wouldn't get wrinkles on it.

Then we ran down towards the waterslide and a person would stand with a bucket of freezing ice water waiting to splash it on us as we went onto the waterslide. As we got closer and closer to the bottom the more speed we gained until we hit the grass. At the end everyone got tired and stopped going on it. Then the waterslide was packed up until the next class came to enjoy.
