2026 Daffodil Day Fundraiser for the Cancer Society - Casual Friday this week!

One of the key fundraisers run by the Tahuna School Council every year is the Daffodil Day fundraiser for the Cancer Society. This year, students are supporting this important cause in several ways. See below for more details!

Here are two ways that Tahuna students can support The School Council's 2026 fundraising drive for Daffodil Day:

  1. Throughout this week leading up to Daffodil Day, school councillors are going around classrooms selling daffodil pins for a gold coin donation. These will also be on sale at the School Office throughout this week.

  2. This Friday 28th August is a Casual Friday - students are encouraged to wear a little (or lots!) of yellow to mark Daffodil Day. The School Council is providing prizes for some of the best dressed!
