Can you believe it's already Week 4?
Term 4 has begun with a busy start for our Year 8 students. Three classes have headed out to Long Beach to wrap up our Year 8 rock climbing unit. Summer sports such as futsal, volleyball, water polo, and touch rugby have commenced, which is the last opportunity for our Year 8 students to represent Tahuna. Go Tahuna!
This term is packed with exciting events! South Zones Athletics will be held on Wednesday 6th November, and we'll also be cheering on our athletes at the Otago Champs during week 6 on Tuesday 19th November.
Get ready for our exciting Year 8 Trading Day on Wednesday 4th December. Our students are busy developing their entrepreneurial skills creating fantastic stalls.
Mark your calendars for our Year 8 Fun Day on Wednesday 11th December. We'll be heading to Moana pool for a swim and then enjoying some ten-pin bowling. Notices have been sent out for this activity; please contact your classroom teacher if you have not received one yet.
And finally, we'll wrap the year up with our Year 8 Leavers' Social on Thursday 12th December from 7 - 9 pm in the school hall.
It's shaping up to be a fantastic and memorable final term for our Year 8's.
