Term 3 Specialist Areas
It has been a very productive time in the specialist areas over the last few weeks of term as students have been completing their artworks, projects and designs.
Visual Art: It has been exciting seeing students getting inspiration from New Zealand artists and creating such vibrant artwork. We have so many talented artists right here in New Zealand, also young budding artists at Tahuna Normal Intermediate.
Enjoy the variety of art works from carvings, ripped landscapes, circular art, lolly art and looking at positive and negative space within work.
Food Technology: Students have shown great pride in working independently with their groups to complete their food design tasks. These have included Masterchef cook offs, 'Brilliant Bake Offs', two course meals and lovely lunchbox items. Please ask to see your child's learning journal in Google classroom!
Materials Technology: A great term in the workshop has seen each student making their own individual project. Check out the photos for some outstanding end results.
