Tahuna Pasifika Performance Group shines on at Otago Polyfest!

A huge congratulations to the Tahuna Pasifika Performance Group for their outstanding performance at Otago Polyfest on Wednesday, 11th September 2024! Being the only pasifika group on Wednesday night, the Tahuna Pasifika Performance Group may have been a little nervous at the thought of this, but they went out and gave it their all with such a great vibe and energy, showcasing their talents, dedication and passion for Pasifika culture through singing and dancing.

A big meitaki ma’ata (thank you) going to our amazing tutors, Selina Sa'u and Rima Tauakume, for their expertise in preparing the group for this incredible performance. Special shout out to Mr Angus and Mrs Coughlin for their support during elective rehearsals.

Lastly, thank you to all the teachers that helped out behind the scenes on performance night and also to the families and friends who attended and supported this celebration of Pasifika pride! 🌺
