Virtual Education Experiences to showcase Otakou Peninsula

A team from Tahuna explored the idea of creating 'V.E.E.' for students to engage with our wonderful Peninsula and all it has to offer...

A team of teachers took a variety of film equipment on an excursion with Port to Port Wildlife Cruises on a search and discovery mission.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful morning on the water where we saw Mollymawks, a variety of Albatross, Seals, Shags, Marine Birds and Little Blue penguins. 

The aim is for students to be involved in creating V.E.E. resources that can be shared here in Dunedin and around the world. This is a fantastic and authentic learning opportunity to showcase what is on our doorstep.

We are working alongside Port to Port Wildlife Cruises in creating exciting and epic V.E.E. which will also be shown to our Sister Schools in China.
