Lit Quiz  Champions - ‘You Wouldn’t Read About It!’

Well actually, you would! Tahuna won the 2016 Otago Lit Quiz Final last Thursday at DNI and also managed to take third spot as well. Some of Otago’s most knowledgeable Intermediate age readers went head to head in the Otago final. It was very close with only a point back to 2nd and another point back to 3rd with two other teams half a point back in 4th. The competition lasted for three hours and the students faced 100 questions. Both Tahuna teams had been prepping for several weeks. Now the winning Team heads off to the Nationals in Wellington in late May to compete in the National Final. Remarkably it’s the third year in a row for Tahuna. So we wish them all the very best.
