Electives…. Lego Creation!!
This term in Room 4, 27 keen participants have been the fortunate students of receiving $500 worth of brand new lego from the school to play, create and explore with. ‘The Warehouse’ was extremely generous to boost our spending by $150 allowing for extra resources to be purchased. A big thank you to The Warehouse for assisting us with this project and future projects where the Lego can continue to be used and loved, #HereForGood.
What I like about my elective is the creating with the lego and using the specialised bits. I love how when creating with lego you can make it look like the actual thing eg a car, plane, buildings, space station . I also built an aeroplane by using plain bricks and no instructions or guidelines, so free build. I’m looking forward to the rest of the term in my elective and having fun creating and learning new things.

I love the Lego Elective, because I LOVE lego! I have loved lego all my life, so it so much fun being able to try and create new things in class. I have enjoyed testing myself with challenges given to us as well as the first couple of lessons when we got to create with all the new lego and use the instructions. Now I am looking forward to creating a stop motion movie….watch this space!
