The Sound of Music

The music knowledge and ability in Room 6 was a pleasant surprise to me (and our music teacher Mrs Bowen Barrett).

This week we had our first music lesson. 

We learned about the music curriculum at this level, some of the rules, opportunities at Tahuna (including itinerant music teachers) and more!

We then headed into exploring beat through a range of clapping and moving games. It was a lot of fun and I found it wonderful to see the talents on display in the class. 

Every 2nd Tuesday we're lucky enough to have a music lesson and I can't wait to see what we learn next.
