CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES

These are a delicious cookie to dip into milk or a hot chocolate! By Kadin Hay R12

Ingredients

125g Butter, softened

1 Cup brown sugar(packed firmly into the measuring cup)

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 ½ Cups Standard grade flour

½ Cup (100g) chopped dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)

What you need to do to make these yummy cookies.....

  1. Grease an oven tray. Preheat the oven to 180℃

  2. Using an electric egg beater, beat together butter & sugar until creamy. Add the egg & essence. Beat well.

  3. Sift the flour & baking powder into a bowl.

  4. Stir the flour & chocolate into the butter mixture. Mix well.

  5. Drop tablespoonful of the mixture onto oven trays, allowing 3-4cm between biscuits for spreading. (You may need to use a knife to help the mixture out of the measuring spoon.)

  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden. Stand for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.


IDEA: Half & Half Biscuits-- use ¼ cup (50g) each of chopped white chocolate & chopped dark chocolate.
